The wait is over - final results

The results of my labours. There are some pieces rinsing in the
washing machine. The green and blue piles are waiting for a
rinse. The plastic bags are also waiting for a rinse out.

All part of the process - the washing, rinsing and drying.



The final results, after about an hours ironing. The fabric was
tumble dried a few pieces at a time but only half dried. It was
then ironed dry. Can't wait to get using it. Got to finish a couple
of pieces and some journal quilts first.

And now we wait..... the clearing up is done and..............

Dyeing in a PB

I decided I needed to dye some more fabric this weekend. I put some
fabric in to soak on Thursday ready for today.  This is the state of my
utility room at the moment - damp fabric, box of dyes, box of
equipment, cat litter trays with bags of fabric soaked in dye. There's
more fabric in the washing machine getting a good preparation, it's so
much better than having to wait. It's my own fault, I should have put
more to soak on Thursday.
